easyJet in Hamburg
On August 18th the AHS station in Hamburg started performing handling services for one of World's leading low lost carriers: easyJet. The British airline easyJet, which was founded back in 1995 by Stelios Haji-Ioannou with a loan from his father, a Greek shipping tycoon, soon became a major success story. Today, easyJet with a fleet of 164 aircraft transports more than 37 million passengers (2006/2007). From Hamburg easyJet offers daily connections to Basel-Mulhouse, London-Luton and Paris-CDG.
