Labor agreement in Hanover

26.03.2018 - Hanover

On 22 March 2018, the members of the trade union Verdi have officially accepted our offer for a collective wage agreement for our Hanover branch. The labor agreement will be valid for two years, starting on May 1st, 2018.

As promised, we have not lost our customers’ interests out of sight during the negotiations as the latest labor actions may bear witness. However, the now reached agreement will bring us high planning security and stable conditions for the upcoming two years.

We will contact you soon to provide you with contractual information in order to match handling prices with the wage increases.

Industrial action in Hanover - update-

15.03.2018 - Hanover

First of all we sincerely would like to apologize for the irregularities and delays which occurred due to the strike of AGS and AHS employees at Hanover Airport this morning. We have done everything in our power to avert cancellations and have now resumed full operations.

We have absolutely no understanding for this kind of tactics, especially having in mind the well-advanced stage of negotiations. The next round will be held tomorrow and we want to assure you that we do our utmost to finalize these negotiations in order to prevent further labor actions – of course without losing our customers’ interests of sight.

Once again we would like to apologize and we will keep you updated about any developments concerning tomorrow’s negotiations.

First round of wage negotiations took place

20.10.2017 - Frankfurt/Main / Hanover

On Tuesday 17 October and Thursday 19 October 2017, first round of wage negotiations for the employees of the AHS branches at the airports of Hannover and Frankfurt took place.

Negotiations have been held in a constructive atmosphere. Part of the first round has been a discussion on corner stones for a collective wage agreement as well as a first draft of a remuneration table.

Naturally, positions on some topics appear far appart at this early stage of negotiations. Nonetheless, we are quite confident that a common agreement can be reached.

We will keep you updated about the upcoming negotiations and will inform you immediately in case operations should be affected due to industrial actions.
